As part of our mission statement, Wisconsin State Horse Council provides sponsorship opportunities to many types of organizations.
Organizations or Groups who have received sponsorship in the past include the Columbus Carriage Classic; the 4-H Harvesters Driving Drill Team; Free S.P.I.R.I.T. Riders; SMILES; etc.
Funding amounts vary per the nature and need of each request. Funding will not be provided for salaries or operating expeses. Any organization making a sponsorship application must be a current member of Wisconsin State Horse Council.
Sponsorships are awarded twice a year, on May 1 and October 1. Applications will be held for review at which ever of the two dates is closer to the date the application is received.
The Sponsorship Committee will review each sponsorship request and make recommendation on action to the Board of Directors. Applicants are required to attend a full WSHC Board of Directors meeting to formally present their request. Vote will be taken at that time also.
Sponsorship Applications may be mailed to the WSHC office, PO Box 72, Columbus, WI 53925, Attention: Sponsorship Chair or emailed to us. Please be sure to fill the application out completely before sending it in.
