What is the Olympic Incubator Project?

2005 Clinic Riders and Alternates Selected

Eight riders and two alternates have been selected to participate in the upcoming Betsy Steiner clinic, sponsored by the Wisconsin State Horse Council Olympic Incubator Program.

The clinic will be held at Oldenburg Farms in Mequon, Wisconsin on October 8th and 9th. Auditor applications are accepted in advance with payment of $35/day. Auditors will be accepted at the door for a charge of $45/day.

Applicants were required to submit a ten minute long video of themself riding the horse they would ride in the clinic; their accomplishments with the horse; current riding level of the horse; their ultimate riding goal; what they wanted to focus on in this clinic; and how they would share the knowledge gained through the clinic with other riders.

The final selections were made by the clinician, Betsy Steiner, herself after reviewing the applications. All eight riders and the two alternates have been contacted, and have accepted their place in the clinic.
